If you’re planning to visit the Dominican republic this summer, you need to apply for a tourist visa to visit it.
This article will help you get started with the process.
How does a tourist visit a country?
If you want to travel to the Dominican and are planning to stay for more than a day, you will need to fill out a tourist application.
These applications can be downloaded on the DEST website and you can submit them online.
The process is pretty simple.
Step 1: Download the tourist applicationStep 2: Select your country of travelStep 3: Enter your name and date of birthStep 4: Select “Country of Destination”Step 5: Enter the desired dates of arrival and departure for your visitThe application can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days to complete.
You can submit your application online or print it out at home.
Step 6: Select the “Submit Form” optionStep 7: Complete the applicationStep 8: Your application will be sent to the department of immigration for processing.
You should receive an email within a few business days.
You’ll need to submit all of your documents as well as proof of your visa status.
The following documents will help with this process:Your visa application will require you to include:Proof of residency for the country you plan to visit.
A copy of your passport.
A passport photo or photo ID.
A photo ID from your country.
A signed declaration from the consular officer in your country confirming you have been issued a tourist visas permit.
A travel itinerary.
If you’re applying for a visa for more, the consulate will ask for the following:Proof that you’ve lived in the country for at least five years.
Your passport photo.
A certified copy of the visitor’s visa (for the current visit) and proof of residency.
The Consular Officer can also ask for copies of your birth certificates, passports, or other government documents.
If the Consular officer doesn’t have these, you can also use a tourist information system to submit them.
To apply for your tourist visa, you’ll need:A valid passport.
Proof of your tourist visas status.
Proof that your trip is for more then a day.
Proof your visa is valid for the duration of your visit.
Proof you’ve been issued an itinerary with a departure date and departure date of your planned trip.
A document stating that you will be leaving the country in the coming week and that you intend to travel with your tour group.
Proof from the Consul of your itinerary that the travel has been approved by the Consulate.
You will also need:Your itinerary to the destination of your intended trip.
Proof the tour group has been invited to stay at the destination for a specified period of time.
You can also submit proof of residence from a foreign tourist if you want proof that your visit has not been cancelled or revoked.
Step 9: Fill out your tourist application at the consulateStep 10: Wait for the Consuls Department of Immigration to issue you with a visaStep 11: You’ll receive an e-mail confirmation that your tourist visit was approved.
You’ll need an additional two weeks to process your tourist visitor visa application.
Step 12: Once you receive your tourist tourist visa application, you should mail it to the Consulates Department of Foreign Affairs in your area of residence.
You should be able to get your tourist visitation visa within two weeks.
